LLC was founded by International Standards Institution of
Governors as a substantive national response to the
Department of Homeland Security's Strategy to Secure
Cyberspace. It was formulated to
directly address the recommendations of that Report as well as
the mandates of Sarbanes-Oxley Act (2002).

Individual and Organizational Accreditation.

that an audited security system is installed and fully
functioning. Businesses with this endorsement have
demonstrated their ability to ensure the confidentiality, integrity
and availability or their information and IT assets.
Certification is underwritten by ongoing audit through the NSRB.
